Since the publication was launched in March 2007 the subscription has reached over 13'000, with the website attracting up to 5000 visitors on a monthly basis.

Encouraging participation 'art art art' offers the opportunity to submit ideas for articles, and feedback on content and design. Each issue is accessible to anybody online reaching a diverse audience democratically.

Shoot Experience is an experiential photography organisation. Using photography as a tool, our projects encourages people to interact creatively within urban environments as they are challenged to construct photographs that tell unique stories whilst being inspired to take a fresh look at their surroundings. Source Magazine represents a distinct and growing part of the photography market connected with exhibiting and publishing which has been developing rapidly over the last ten years in Britain and Ireland. In each issue we publish three new portfolios of photographs mixing well known photographers and those on the first rung of their career. The type of photographic work ranges across Documentary and Fine Art. A Routemaster bus becomes a candlelit restaurant, striking street art adorns once industrial walls, an enclave of London’s best bars, cafes and restaurants weaves a path past achingly hip shops, salons, cutting-edge gallery spaces and a retro-themed bowling alley, and up through buzzing markets full of undiscovered treasures: The Old Truman Brewery offers inimitable retail, leisure and commercial spaces for an open and diverse community. theprintspace occupies two floors of a 4000sqft area comprising an exhibition space, retouching booths, walk-in print stations and large format digital c-type and Epson Giclee printers. In a step towards revitalizing the conventional approach to top-end printing, theprintspace is the first ‘DIY’ printing lab in London. The ethos at theprintspace is to give photographers and visual artists total control over the final print, whilst offering proper technical support, full instructions, and access to the kind of high-end equipment which currently only the most successful creative companies can afford. By incorporating the same professional standard of colour profiling into a user-driven ‘creative process’, theprintspace negotiates the prolab’s biggest problem – offering the standard of services professional creatives have come to expect, but making it available for more than a select few. theprintspace is delighted to sponsor the photomonth photo-open.

The Museum of Childhood is a branch of the V&A based in Bethnal Green and houses the UK's national collection of childhood-related objects, one of the finest in the world. Spanning the 1600s to the present day, the collection includes toys, dolls, dolls' houses, games, puppets, children's clothing and furniture. Admission to the Museum is free and there is also an extensive Learning Programme for all ages, as well as a series of changing temporary exhibitions and small displays. The Museum of Childhood is hosting the Photomonth Portfolio Review in addition to their own exhibitions.



Having recently concluded its expansion into the former Library next door the Gallery continues its aim to bring great art to East London. The Gallery has premiered international artists such as Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Nan Goldin, and provided a showcase for Britain’s most significant artists from Gilbert & George to Lucian Freud, Peter Doig to Mark Wallinger. The Whitechapel hosts the annual keynote Photomonth Lecture.

The World Photography Organisation (WPO) supports professional, amateur and student photography and lends a global platform for the photographic industry to communicate, converge and showcase current trends in Photojournalism, Fine Art and Commercial Photography. The World Photography Organisation delivers various initiatives and programmes across the global photographic community under the “World Photography” brand. These programmes involve the amateur and professional photographer in commercial, cultural and educational activities within the photographic industry. Currently included within the World Photography portfolio are the World Photography Awards sponsored by Sony; the World Photography Student Focus Competition and the World Photography Awards Global Tour and the World Photography Focus Programme. The WPO supports the Photomonth Youth Award.
